Adding Melodial to Sonos

Add Melodial — Music For Retail to your Sonos system in ten quick steps and start streaming licensed background music to your space.

Open Your System

In the Sonos app, go to "Your System." Under "Your Services," tap the + icon to add a new music service.

Find Melodial

Scroll through the list of available services and select "Melodial — Music For Retail."

View Service Details

Review the Melodial service info, then tap "Add to Sonos."

Authorize Your Account

Start Authorization

Tap "Authorize" to begin linking your Melodial account.

Sign In

Enter your Melodial account email and password, then tap "Sign In & Authorize."

Confirm Authorization

Once successful, you’ll see "Authorization Successful." Close this window and return to the Sonos app.

Name Your Account

Give your Melodial account a nickname (e.g. "Shop"), then tap "Continue."

Finish Setup

Tap "Done" to complete setup. Optionally, check the box to set Melodial as your preferred service on this device.

Browse Melodial

You’ll now see Melodial in your Sonos app, with options to browse by Genre or view My Playlists.

Choose a Playlist

Select "My Playlists" to see all available Melodial playlists (e.g. 80s & 90s, Afro Beats, Ambient Flow) and tap one to start playing.
